Case Background
On June 29, 2016 Triangle USA Petroleum Corporation and five affiliated debtors (collectively, the "Debtors") each filed a voluntary petition for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. The cases are pending before the Honorable Mary F. Walrath and are jointly administered under Case No. 16-11566.
Important Information & Dates
Plan & Disclosure Statement:
On November 15, 2016, the Debtors filed their Plan of Reorganization and the Disclosure Statement related thereto. On January 13, 2017 the Bankruptcy Court entered an order approving the Disclosure Statement. On March 10, 2017, the Bankruptcy Court entered an order confirming the plan. On March 24, 2017, the Effective Date of the Plan occurred, and the Plan was consummated.
Bar Date for Filing Proofs of Claim:
The Bankruptcy Court has set the following deadlines for filing proofs of claim against the Debtors:
- General Bar Date (all creditors other than Governmental Units): October 13, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. (ET)
- Governmental Bar Date: December 27, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. (ET)
- Administrative Bar Date: April 24, 2017
