Case Background

On March 8, 2015, Dune Energy, Inc. and two affiliated debtors (collectively, the "Debtors") each filed a voluntary petition for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas.  The cases are pending before the Honorable H. Christopher Mott and are jointly administered under Case No. 15-10336.

Approval of the Disclosure Statement and Confirmation of the Plan 

On September 17, 2015, the Bankruptcy Court held a combined hearing to consider approval of the Disclosure Statement and confirmation of the Plan.  On September 18, 2015, the Court entered an order approving the Disclosure Statement and confirming the Plan.  On September 30, 2015, the Effective Date of the Plan occurred and the Plan was consummated.
