On July 13, 2020, Congoleum Corporation (the "Debtor") filed a voluntary petition for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey (Trenton) as Case No. 20-18488.  The case is pending before the Honorable Michael B. Kaplan.

Plan & Disclosure Statement

On November 10, 2020, the Debtors filed their Joint Plan of Reorganization (as subsequently amended, the "Plan") and the Disclosure Statement related thereto.  On November 11, 2020, the Bankruptcy Court entered an order approving the Disclosure Statement.  The hearing to consider confirmation of the Plan occured on January 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. (prevailing Central Time), the deadline to file an objection to the confirmation has been set as January 4, 2021 and the deadline for voting has been set as January 5, 2021. On January 25, 2021 the Effective Date of the Plan occurred, and the Plan was consummated.
