Case Background
On October 1, 2017, Appvion, Inc. and five affiliated debtors (collectively, the “Debtors” or the “Company”) each filed a voluntary petition for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware (the “Bankruptcy Court”). On November 15, 2017, an order was entered dismissing the case of Appvion Global Netherlands Cooperatief, U.A. On August 29, 2018, final decrees were entered closing the cases of Oldapco PDC Corp, Oldapco PDC Cap Corp, Oldapco ARFI LLC, and Oldapco APVN LLC. The remaining case is pending before the Honorable Mary F. Walrath under Case No. 17-12082.
On May 14, 2018, the Bankruptcy Court approved the sale of substantially all of the Debtors’ assets to a group of the Company’s lenders led by Franklin Advisers, Inc. The sale was completed on June 13, 2018. The transaction will significantly reduce Appvion’s debt, provide additional liquidity, and better position Appvion to compete long-term in the evolving specialty paper market and further invest in the innovation that has made it a market leader.

Important Information & Dates
Plan and Disclosure Statement
On May 23, 2018, the Debtors filed their Combined Plan of Liquidation and Disclosure Statement related thereto. On July 14, 2018, the Bankruptcy Court entered an order confirming the Plan. On August, 24, 2018, the Effective Date of the Plan occured, and the Plan was consummated.

Deadline to File Claims
The Bankruptcy Court has set the following deadlines for filing proofs of claim against the Debtor:
- General Claims Bar Date: February 14, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Time)
- Rejection Claims Bar Date: March 30, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Time)
